The Athenee Palace Bucharest is happy to welcome a new General Manager to the team, in the shape of Linda Griffin. She steps into the role vacated by Friedrich W. Niemann, who has returned to Germany to manage the new Berlin Waldorf Astoria. Linda has been working with Hilton for 21 years, most recently in Turkey. She began her journey in Canada at the Hilton Toronto, before becoming Front Office Manager at Hilton Toronto Airport. Soon she would be working internationally for Hilton in various capacities, before returning to Hotel Operations at the Athens Hilton. She has also managed two separate Hilton hotels in Turkey, so is well experienced to handle her new role.

Linda has said of her appointment: “It is with great anticipation that I take on the role of General Manager of the prestigious Athénée Palace Hilton Bucharest. I am very much looking forward to the opportunities of this evolving market.”
